Frequently Asked Questions

Since I will be applying directly with the life insurance company, do I get a price break?

Unfortunately, the life insurance companies do not offer a price break for applying directly with them. However, they do promise this process to be a much faster and more efficient way of attaining life insurance.

Do you offer a money back guarantee?

All life insurance companies are required by law to offer a money-back guarantee. Typically, from the time you receive your new policy, you'll have 15 days to return it for a full refund.

A lot of the quoted companies are closely priced. Which one should I choose?

You should choose the best rate unless you have any health concerns such as a history of heart disease, cancer or diabetes. If you do have a noteable health concern, please let us know and we will place you with the company that tends to be favorable to your condition.

How can I speed up the process of receiving my policy?

You can speed up the application process by being well prepared for your phone interview with the insurance company. Before the insurance company calls you should be ready with the following information:

  • Your driver's license number and state.
  • Information on existing life insurance if applicable. (carrier, amount, year issued, and policy number.)
  • Name and address of your employer. (If you are a homemaker, please state so.)
  • Your annual household income.
  • Your approximate gross assets and liabilities.
  • Names, addresses, SS#s, and dates of birth of all beneficiaries.
  • Name, address, and phone of your Primary Care Physician.
  • Medical history of any serious medical problems.
  • Names of any prescription medications you take and dosages.
  • What is involved in the medical examination process?

The medical examination can be scheduled at your home or work and is paid for by the life insurance company. The exam typically consists of medical history questions, blood/urine specimen, blood pressure/pulse readings, and height/weight readings. Sometimes additional requirements are necessary, such as an EKG. It is recommended that you schedule your exam early in the morning because test results are often better at this time.

How long does it take the life insurance company to approve me for coverage?

Once you have applied and completed the medical examination the underwriting-approval process usually takes 2-5 weeks.

    How can I get started?

You can either submit an application request via our website or call us directly. To submit an application request, run a custom quote by clicking "Get an instant quote." Then click on "request application" next to the company that offers the best rate.
